The pre-teen of today deals with a lot more data ? acquiring, creating, integrating, using and sharing ? than we did at that age. And they seem pretty savvy about it. \nSo I went out and interviewed some of them to learn about how they deal with information in their worlds, and compared and contrasted that with current practices in enterprise data integration and management.\nCome to this session to find out if their answers are better than your own to deal with the data management challenges of the future:\n

Exploding volumes of data ? doubles every 18 months
\n
Fragmentation of data sources, types, origin
\n
Blurring lines between private and public information
\n
Multiple real-time access and delivery channels
\n
Concerns for security, quality, timeliness, cost
\n
Tradeoffs that must be made ? but who makes them and how to maximize business impact

\nArmed with this perspective, we will also explore what you can do today for your data integration strategy to still be relevant when these youngsters enter the workforce.
