This will enable core business processes in enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM and as well as business intelligence. In addition one of the key deliverables was to provide clean master data for ERP and CRM migration programs. Customer data management has its unique challenges such as multiple sources of master data in existing source applications, external data, data quality levels and real-time data synchronization needs. \nWe started out by identifying the core systems and understanding business requirements followed by a data profiling activity to understand data quality levels. Using the results, we defined data quality rules. We followed this with data matching and de-duplication activity using an external validation service. Finally, this enabled the creation of master data repository that had to be interfaced with other systems in the landscape.\n
\n
Existing landscape and challenges with data
\n
Architectural solution designed with common patterns
\n
Technologies used
\n
Data governance
\n
Lessons learned
